“The invitation to pray to our Creator can feel daunting to the novice and repetitive to the practiced. Jeff Voth simplifies the journey and deepens the experience for all. This one-year prayer journey includes a beautiful, thought-provoking prayer prayed over you or through you, a scriptural anchor, and an easy-to-use prayer exercise for each day. This book provides an engaging and transformational answer to the request ‘Lord, teach us to pray.’”
“In our day and age, the deterioration of language is evident everywhere. Words have lost their original meaning. A Thousand More Amens is not just a devotional. Jeff Voth manages to convey to readers the depth and the width of a word that has almost lost its meaning. He recreated the word amen to its original meaning . . . to be a strong motivation for prayer.”
“Anyone who knows Jeff or has prayed with him has heard him use the phrase ‘amen, and a thousand more amens.’ In this daily devotional, Jeff explains the origins of this phrase ‘as if dropped from heaven’ and gives you an insight into the history and beauty of the word amen. This lens provides a fresh perspective and background for each devotional entry that will provide a greater richness to the word of God through this daily devotional.”
“I count it an honor to be called friend by Jeff Voth. Few friends have ever challenged me to gaze at Jesus, love him, and follow him like Jeff Voth. In A Thousand More Amens, Jeff invites each of us, as a friend, to walk together with him as he follows Jesus. No doubt about it, as you walk through the pages of this book, you will be drawn into a closer walk with Jesus.”
“Jeff Voth has penned a masterpiece on prayer. In the midst of a worldwide pandemic, this book is like kisses from heaven. My heart leaped as I read A Thousand More Amens. As I read it, I was challenged how I can love better and learn to love well. It will inspire, encourage, and activate you to prayer. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants to impact the lives of others significantly.”
“This book you are holding gives everyone who reads it a daily revelation of the Father’s heart for you, the kingdom of God, and where you fit into his great adventure.”
