Publisher's Description
What is the fruit of a searching dialogue between faith and reason? This book collects theological and philosophical perspectives on the richness of the faith-reason dialogue, including examples from literature, continental and analytic philosophy, worship and liturgy, and radical approaches to issues of racism and prejudice. The authors strongly resist the temptations to either disregard the faith-reason dialogue or take it for granted. Through their explorations and reflections they open up new vistas and horizons on a topic more necessary than ever.

“This collection of essays has something in it for everyone. . . . Overall, the collection is characterized by a creative and contemporary engagement with the subject of the faith-reason couplet.”
“This is a book not only about faith and reason; it actually models what a discussion of faith and reason within a Catholic university, between the various disciplines, and between Catholic and non-Catholic faculty and staff should look like. Books about faith and reason have proliferated, but rare indeed is a book that bridges the practical and the theoretical and does so without sacrificing philosophical and theological depth. Highly recommended!”
