Genesis 37 - 50

“Westermann's commentary on the Joseph narrative completes his magnum opus, a three-volume commentary on the book of Genesis. Its appearance in English has been greeted with enthusiasm as "one of the really great commentaries: (C.S. Rodd) and praised for its "thoroughness, clarity, and freshness" (John Bright). The work "opens up dimensions of meaning which are not only relevant for theology but for human existence in the modern world.”
