“Abigail Weibel’s renditions of the Psalms reflect a faithful translation that stirs the heart and drives you back to the text. Her interpretations express their message with language that is fresh and powerful yet remain true to the original intent. I highly recommend this book!”
“Abigail Weibel’s King of Mercy is an engaging introduction to the Psalms. Weibel’s work keeps close to the meaning of each psalm, reminding this reviewer of the famous New England Primer with its memorable poetic adaptations of Scripture. Readers will find her poetry to be a complementary companion to one of the most popular reads in the Bible, and her creativity should encourage and enrich personal study of Scripture.”
“King of Mercy offers a contemporary retelling of the Psalms in a satisfying, rhyming style. Great for all ages, King of Mercy can be used as a devotional to invigorate your day with the Psalms.”
