Publisher's Description
Sustaining beauty is the thread which weaves through these poems as magically as it runs through the poet’s life. Finding nourishing beauty in nature, faith communities, and civic engagement, Sharon invites readers to linger with her collection and find sustenance within her images. Meet Me at the Ice Cream: New and Selected Poems is well suited for book groups.

“Hallelujah for Chace’s intimate and universal poetry, painted with words and colors that become songs—seasons that turn and return, bringing us back to the ebb and flow of the tides of our lives. Her poems rhyme forth with the innocence and wonder of a child, but the depth and the mystery are always nearby. Even when the weather storms, Chace sustains beauty, joy, and gratitude for what is.”
