Publisher's Description

Quiet Song: A Christian Poetry Book is a collection of delicately woven, personal poems that guide the reader through three sections: hope, sorrow, and prayer. It delves into moments of breathtaking beauty and moments of self-despair while praising God the whole way through. The book emphasizes that through times of blessing and brokenness, nothing is more satisfying than God’s love. In the first section, hope is present but not perfection, as hope is for the things to come. As the book transitions into poems of sorrow, with themes of depression and fear, hope remains, but only as a flicker. The last section, prayer, is an invitation and reminder that, through hope or sorrow, prayer is what ultimately brings one closer to Christ.
