“Abstract There is a gap between perception and reality in most of life’s activities and pursuits. This may be especially true in the Gospel Ministry. What most people perceive in terms of content, workload, activity and consequence of that activity is vastly different from the reality of what takes place on a daily, weekly and yearly basis. Dealing in the Spirit is a slow work. The analogy used by Jesus to agriculture is very appropriate. There are those who plant and those who harvest. One may not be around for both. I hope this helps others in ministry, to learn from my mistakes, glean wisdom from areas where God was particularly gracious and grow in areas where God granted success.”
