Abel Tendekayi Muzorewa
Biography
Abel Tendekayi Muzorewa (born 1925) was a pastor, ecumenical Youth Secretary and Bishop in the United Methodist Church, and served as Prime Minister of Zimbabwe. Muzorewa also led the African National Council (ANC). Muzorewa earned a diploma in theology from Old Mutare Biblical Institute, a BA in religion and philosophy from Fayette Methodist College, a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Scarritt College, and honorary doctorates from Morningside College, Mount Union College and Garret Evangelical Seminary. Muzorewa wrote Evangelism That Decolonizes the Soul (2005).
