Andrew B. Perrin earned a PhD at McMaster University. Perrin has served as associate vice president of research at Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada, and previously served as director of the Dead Sea Scrolls Institute at Trinity Western University and as Canada Research Chair in Religious Identities of Ancient Judaism. Perrin wrote Lost Words and Forgotten Worlds (2025).
