Kingdom Come

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Dr. Hahn's Kingdom Come: Unveiling the Mystery of Salvation History deserves to be read, studied, and prayed over. For many decades, Dr. Hahn's teaching on the Bible has enriched scholars, students, priests and religious, and laity alike. His rich treatment of 1 and 2 Chronicles makes these books accessible—showing that the Chronicler is not just recounting the past but doing so in a prophetic key by unveiling the divine template of the kingdom of God fulfilled in Jesus Christ. As Dr. Hahn so eloquently unfolds, wherever the King is, there is the kingdom, and whenever we come before the Blessed Sacrament, we come before the divine King. Dr. Hahn shows how this liturgical (and even Eucharistic) kingdom is already present in the Old Testament and flowers in the New. Church and kingdom are two ways of saying the same thing, and the hinge is the Holy Eucharist. Highly recommended!”

“This book is both accessible and deep; intellectually stimulating, with an eye toward what matters most: entering into the Trinitarian life of God, now and for all eternity. This book will make you want to pray, with awe and wonder at the majestic splendor of salvation.”
