Rethinking the Acceptable Year

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Those who desire to understand more deeply a central component to Jesus’ mission according to Luke will greatly benefit from reading Dr. Luthy’s work. Particularly in light of the significant emphasis on justice and political action, Luthy’s work is a fair re-thinking of what Jesus’ primary intention was. I highly recommend this monograph for the Bible scholar, the Bible student, and the pastor trying to help the congregation stand faithful in an unjust society, holding on to the true nature of the kingdom of God.”
