Heart to Heart

Theology

“Peter McGregor's Heart to Heart: The Spiritual Christology of Joseph Ratzinger offers a thorough analysis of Ratzinger's thought from his early Introduction to Christianity through Behold the Pierced One and his recent Jesus of Nazareth. McGregor persuasively argues that Ratzinger's post-Chalcedonian spiritual Christology helps heal the many divisions infecting and at times paralyzing modern theological reflection. A thought-provoking work that perhaps surprisingly exposes Ratzinger's as a daring, deeply traditional, and profound theological voice.”
