Jesus according to the New Testament

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“James Dunn has written the perfect introduction to the New Testament’s central theme. This engaging treatment of Jesus—and the earliest ideas about Jesus—touches every necessary stepping-stone along the path of a New Testament survey. Jesus According to the New Testament is a delight from start to finish.”

Jesus and the Last Supper

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Now more than ever the field of historical Jesus studies is in a state of flux. The discipline is razing old foundations with the hope that more sophisticated methods will emerge. With Jesus and the Last Supper Brant Pitre constructs a bridge from the best scholarship of previous generations to the most promising possibilities of the present. This book is nothing less than a blueprint for resurrecting Jesus studies in the twenty-first century.”

Mimetic Criticism and the Gospel of Mark

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Finally! A work that recognizes how truly revolutionary and deeply reflective the gospel of Mark was and is. Watts puts forth a bold first step.”
