Insects and Innuendoes

Arts & Literature

“Insects and Innuendoes is a bold, genre-blurring collection whose rhythmic cadence and linguistic play evoke the energy of rap, while exploring existential depths. Through cryptic alliterations, eerie imagery, and layered cycles, Gergo Sastyin creates a self-reflexive poetic world. The repeated use of ‘the’ in poem titles suggests a poetry of defining the indefinite—a ‘metaphorical journey’ at times reminiscent of Poe. Readers will be drawn into its strange, resonant landscape—challenged, moved, and compelled to return.”
