12 Steps with Jesus

Christian Living

“PRESIDENT AND CEO, FIRST PACIFIC BANK In Twelve Steps with Jesus, Don Williams confronts the fear and despair that give birth to our addictions with a message of hope, freedom and joy. The answers he gives are not found in faddish psychobabble. Rather, he says, the solutions to our addictions are found in the ancient story of redemption as given in Holy Scripture. With characteristic simplicity and clarity, Don leads us into a Christ-centered 12-step program. I heartily recommend Twelve Steps with Jesus to all who are searching for freedom from the tyranny of addiction.”

Engaging Theology

Theology

“The Christian pilgrimage involves pursuing knowledge of Christian theology—either intentionally or unintentionally. R. L. Hatchett and Ben Blackwell in Engaging Theology have provided a rich reading resource for beginning that part of the journey, either in the university or in a local church. Engaging Theology is an excellent primer for communities that need a theology book that is Trinitarian in structure; comprehensive, ecumenical, and nondogmatic in spirit; emphasizes the narrative nature of theological development; and interacts with the broader church and other religious traditions.”

The Holy Spirit in Mission

Theology

“The Holy Spirit in Mission is a fresh call to the church to intentionally participate with the Holy Spirit in what God is doing in the church and in the world. It engages the best of missional scholarship while giving very practical examples of how we can all be involved with the Spirit in God's mission. I highly recommend it to all church leaders.”
