“Throughout Scripture we see a transcendent God who draws intimately close to the vulnerable, the oppressed, the lonely, and the fatherless. Dr. Jeon's charge to recover the church's call to do likewise should move us to repentance. Through thoughtful reflections on the mercy we have received in Christ, he exhorts us to live out a faith that matters by making abundant good works a necessary outworking of our faith.”
