Star Trek and Faith, Volume 1

Apologetics

“Golly, Jim. I’m a doctor, not a literary critic. Oh wait—I’m not even a doctor. But I am a longtime fan of Star Trek, as is Mark Hansard. Fans have long observed spiritual themes in Star Trek, as in any storytelling that addresses large and profound ideas. Mark discusses selected episodes of Star Trek vis-à-vis classic Christian doctrines, including insights from Gene Roddenberry’s own point of view. The book is organized in a format that lends itself to small group study. Read. Watch. Discuss.”
