Carrie A. Miles earned a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Miles has served as an organizational psychologist and consultant in Fairfax, Virginia, as a senior research fellow with the Consortium for the Economic Study of Religion at George Mason University, and as executive officer of the Association for the Study of Religion, Economics, and Culture. Miles wrote The Redemption of Love (2006).
