A Narnian Vision of the Atonement

Theology

“In his philosophical and imaginative engagement with C. S. Lewis’s Narnia series, Charles Taliaferro culls and hones a classic but nearly forgotten view of the atonement. In typical Taliaferro fashion, the writing is erudite, winsome, and provocative. This creative gem of a book inspired me both to rethink the ransom theory and to re-read the Chronicles!”

Cascade Companion to Evil

Philosophy

“Charles Taliaferro’s Cascade Companion to Evil is a brilliant work that could only have been forged out of years of careful research, contemplation, and classroom engagement on the subject. In its pages are nuggets of insight, key quotations from classic and contemporary experts, and rich examples that move the reader from theory to reality. You will not find a more erudite, wise, and engaging guide on the topic of evil.”

Dying to See You!

Christian Living

“In this luminous collection, Charles Taliaferro blends wit, wisdom, and wonder into a series of essays that feel like conversations with an old friend who just happens to be a world-class philosopher. With his Chestertonian charm, Taliaferro draws on personal encounters, Christian spirituality, and ‘parabolic performances’ to create essays that are playful yet profound, inviting us to love life more deeply and live it more generously. A rare gem of warmth and intellectual grace.”

Luis de Molina

Theology

“At long last we have a tour de force on the life, theology, and legacy of an oft overlooked theological giant. In this work Kirk MacGregor masterfully weaves together Luis de Molina’s life, spiritual pilgrimage, theological genius, and the heritage of Molinism he left to posterity. Anyone interested in divine sovereignty and human choice should read this book. Besides the theological reward that will be reaped from doing so, you will also be drawn into the fascinating life and times of a remarkable human being.”

Molinist Philosophical and Theological Ventures

Philosophy

“MacGregor’s aims for this book are high: to demonstrate that Molinism is grounded in Scripture, to offer rebuttals to its critics, and to broaden its scope. In standard MacGregor fashion, utilizing the tools of philosophy and theology, he brilliantly achieves his aims. . . . Anyone interested in learning more about the workings of God in the world would benefit from this book!”

Reasonable Faith

Apologetics

“William Lane Craig is not only a world-class philosopher-widely recognized as such in the philosophical community-but he has been a leading defender of the Christian faith for over a quarter of a century. Reasonable Faith includes, in concise and accessible form, some of the best of the best of his thinking on vital areas of apologetics. Powerful, persuasive, and relevant, Craig demonstrates that central Christian beliefs, such as the existence of a personal, intelligent, and exceedingly powerful God, miracles, and Jesus' Messianic claims and resurrection, are reasonable to believe and based on solid evidence. You won't find a better book in support of the Christian faith.”

Religious Experience and the Knowledge of God

World Religions

“In this erudite and enlightening book, Netland explores the complexities of religious experience and skillfully guides the reader through the thickets of this topic. Whatever your own experience of the divine (or lack thereof), you will no doubt learn much about the ways religious encounters can inform our thoughts about God and support the soundness of our beliefs.”

Saved by Grace through Faith or Saved by Decree?

Theology

“In his assiduous analysis of the Calvinist doctrine of salvation, Geoffrey Robinson provides an array of rich and challenging insights. Whether you are a pastor, seminarian, or layperson, you will be abundantly rewarded by reading this book.”

Science and Theology

Science & Faith

“The relationship between science and theology has been tenuous for a very long time, and it has seemed to many that these two domains are forever irreconcilable. Fortunately, Alister McGrath has constructed an integrative theological method that is both faithful to the core doctrines of the Christian tradition and open to the latest insights of the natural sciences. In this well-crafted book, Jamie Dew provides an incisive overview and constructive analysis of McGrath's extraordinary work. It is a valuable read for anyone interested in the science/religion dialogue.”
