Evangelism & Missions

“Many of the sources for telling the history of Chinese Christianity are located in archival holdings outside of China. This collection of essays is an excellent example of how such holdings can be tapped and how students can be engaged to recount this history and retell the experiences of missionaries. The names of RCA missionaries chronicled in this book, such as John Otte and Tena Holkeboer, are still heard in churches in Xiamen today and deserve to be commemorated.”
