“David Brewer has done the fields of philosophy of religion and philosophical theology a great service by highlighting the epistemological role of humility and hospitality in the quest to understand God. What emerges from the discussion is the realization that convictional differences are the necessary conditions for discovery and honest interrogation of claims to truth.
