An Introduction to Isaiah 1–39

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Marvin Sweeney has few peers as a scholar of Isaiah, and in this brief volume he gifts his readers with an updated overview of his thinking about the book. Deeply conversant with the scholarship and ongoing traditions around the book, and presented in a highly readable form, this is a significant contribution and would serve well in the classroom.”
