Rehabilitating Inerrancy in a Culture of Fear

Theology

“In order to rehabilitate inerrancy, Bovell makes a bold and thoughtful plea for evangelicals to realize the important hermeneutical issues of culture, history, and tradition within the biblical texts themselves. Books like this one tend to engender a reactionary response within evangelicalism. My hope is that a consideration of the themes herein will occur so that a responsible dialogue can occur for the good of the Church.”

Retrieving Augustine's Doctrine of Creation

Science & Faith

“We need pastors like Gavin Ortlund, and we need books written by pastors like Gavin Ortlund! His opening chapter on humility sets the stage for a book that is contextually responsible, academically sound, and pastorally motivated. I highly recommend this book as a rewarding and promising retrieval of Augustine's doctrine of creation for the good of the church.”
