“Mark A. Erickson provides valuable perspective on the old and new covenants. He provides more than just a few line-item comparisons. We are shown not only big-picture differences, but also what remains consistent and what issues are more fully developed. Erickson tackles difficult topics such as war, ethics, and the reliability of manuscripts, while keeping the main thing central. This book is full of practical help for serious students of the Bible.”
