Hurt Road

History & Biography

“Happily ever after. That’s the dream for many from our earliest days, and for most it remains just that—a dream. Mark Lee points toward a different path—more pain, more surprises, more difficulties, more joy, and ultimately more true to life and more fulfilling than even our most perfect dreams. Drawing from his own experiences, Mark serves as an excellent guide for all who find themselves following God down their personal Hurt Road.”

Shifting Polity

Church Leadership & Ministry

“Born out of a pastor’s heart and forged in the trenches of faithful local ministry, Zach Kilpatrick’s work, Shifting Polity, offers a practical guide for pastors and church leaders seeking to transition from a single-pastor model to a biblically grounded plurality of elders. So often these conversations stay at the theoretical and hypothetical. Kilpatrick offers a biblically saturated framework that is drenched with lived patience, wisdom, and humility. I pray that this timely resource will strengthen and encourage healthier patterns of pastoral leadership for decades to come.”
