The Heart of Community

History & Biography

“From the beginning of its preface, The Heart of Community is a wonderful and inspiring read. Across a sequence of extraordinary leadership of great institutions, George Rupp made those institutions and the world they contributed to better. At the same time, he lived a life of family and adventure. One completes this book with a sense of both admiration and possibility, as the ideal of community contribution is realized through an individual life well lived.”
