Lines from the Exile

Arts & Literature

“Hartley’s debut book of poetry is a dazzling blizzard of unforgettable emotion and energy. A cross-continental collection of poems spanning the distance from Florida to Alaska, Greek philosophy and mythology, to biblical allusions and ecology, Lines from the Exile reveals the voice of a gifted poet, brilliant scholar, and loving husband and father. . . . This is a book that I will cherish and return to again and again in the future.”
