Of Merchants and Missions

History & Biography

“Of Merchants and Missions is a very well-researched work and an important contribution to Singapore’s mission history. As a Methodist pastor in Singapore, it is most inspiring to read of the work and lives of the early missionary pioneers, without whom the picture would be very different today. At the same time, it is a reminder not to bask in former glory but to be challenged to do the same for today’s society as the pioneer missionaries did for theirs. Highly recommended!”
