Proverbs

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Alden admirably accomplishes his purpose of expounding the Proverbs by bringing out their bearing on modern life. He uses homey applications, occasional quotes from modern authors, songs, and poems, all of which make his commentary an excellent source for elders, pastors, and Sunday School teachers to use.”
