The Restoration of Human Affairs
Philosophy
“A penetrating analysis of human nature. A bold and all-encompassing vision to reform a broken world. A treatise of hope for our time. These are ways to describe the seven-volume Consultation of seventeenth-century Czech philosopher, theologian, and educator John Amos Comenius. The essays of Jan Hábl’s The Restoration of Human Affairs are a welcome addition to the sparse English commentary on Comenius’s magnum opus.”
