Transmitting the Spirit in Missions

Evangelism & Missions

“Dr. Markin’s book, Transmitting the Spirit in Missions, deserves serious and widespread attention as a momentous achievement in Pentecostal missions history in Africa, particularly as it relates to Ghanaian Pentecostalism. . . . This is an impressively thorough treatment of the history of how the Church of Pentecost defied all challenges of schisms and acrimonies in a very delicate colonial era and grew to become one of the major Christian denominations in the world. Anyone interested in Pentecostal missions history in Ghana cannot afford to ignore this important work.”
