“Each of the poems within this collection is so beautiful, exciting, memorable, and enjoyable to read. I just couldn’t stop reading. I loved the way Chinnaya described her childhood, and the different cultural foods made me very hungry. It was adorable and engaging to read about her husky pet and all of his mischief and things he liked to do. Some of my favorite poems include ‘Capitalism Never Sleeps,’ ‘Home,’ ‘Fall,’ ‘Husky,’ and ‘Pastries at Martha’s.’”
