The Four Senses of Scripture

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Patrick Schreiner's The Four Senses of Scripture reflects not only the expertise of a biblical scholar but also the wisdom of someone who has read widely and deeply in the Christian tradition. Schreiner does not seek to retrieve the quadriga as it was but instead unearths its interpretive logic to propose a distinctly evangelical version of it. If all modern exegetes read premodern interpreters as much as Schreiner has, we would be the richer for it!”

The Gospel of John: The Easy Bible Study Method

Bible Studies & Devotionals

“This book is a wonderful resource for those learning to study the Bible for the first time yet also packed full of wisdom for lifelong students of the Word. Perhaps what I love most is how Ashley, Taylor, and Ellen include visual example after visual example of how they personally highlight, color-code, and otherwise mark up the text of the Bible when studying it. Imitate them! These authors model the best kind of Bible study: at once rigorous, devotional, theological, and applicational. Buy yourself a copy of this book, then buy some more for your friends and get to know God better together!”
