Reading the Bible as a Postexilic Biblical Author Read

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“How do we read the Bible from the contexts of Asia? What are the different ways of interpreting it? In this book by Dr. Huu-Thien we are provided with different approaches to the text. But more than this, he shows us how even in the text of the Bible itself, we already have a model of what it means to read the text contextually. This will be a valuable textbook for those who want to read the Bible in the Asian context.”

The Psalter Reclaimed

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“As someone who comes from an Asian (Filipino) context, I find it heartwarming to read The Psalter Reclaimed. This book helps those of us in the majority world, where the church continues to grow, by showing us a way of reading the psalms that brings us closer to God.”
