God's Design for the Church

Church Leadership & Ministry

“With biblical insight and down-to-earth illustrations, Conrad Mbewe’s God’s Design for the Church takes us on an insider’s exploration of the nature, character, and challenges of the rapidly expanding church in Africa. His comprehensive but easy-to-read analysis confirms much of what is visible and does not shy away from often hidden ‘hot potatoes,’ such as money matters, issues of discipline, and other trends that define, enhance, or undermine the life and witness of the church. His perspective has implications for the future of the body of Christ, not only in Africa but also in other parts of the world.”

Mission 3:16

Evangelism & Missions

“John 3:16 is not just some text of Scripture for Paul Borthwick but a life he has embraced and lives out. Ever since we first met in Kasarani (Kenya), I've appreciated his genuine and contagious love for people in God's world in all our diversity. Be it around Boston, where God has brought the world to his doorstep, or other parts of the world he has crisscrossed (including Bela-Bela, South Africa, where we most recently met), Paul both speaks and lives out the love of God in drawing people to his saving grace. I commend Mission 3:16 to all who have experienced this love of God are eager to invite others to do the same.”
