“Can you believe it? The baby boomers are growing old--fast. Members of the generation that once declared they wouldn't trust anyone over thirty are now turning sixty years old at the rate of one person every second seconds. Aging Successfully is a book for this time . . . and . . . this aging generation. David Gallaghar provides a wealth of helpful information, loads of encouragement, and practical insights for aging successfully. It is a book to read and use. I highly recommend it.”

“No one, to my knowledge, is as good at developing systems for recruiting, training, and deploying people in ministry as is Nelson Searcy. In his newest book, Connect, Searcy addresses the principles and theology of volunteer ministry. Just as important, however, he shows the processes and procedures that actually work. Church leaders who are struggling to find volunteers will find Connect a valuable resource.”

“In De-sizing the Church, author Karl Vaters alerts us to the dangers of a 'bigger is better' mentality in life and ministry. Without 'throwing the baby out with the bathwater,' he analyzes the historical development of popular church growth thinking in the United States, offering insightful analysis and helpful critique. He argues for a balanced appreciation of all sizes of churches, while calling church leaders to use integrity as their core measurement of success rather than numerical growth. Whatever your viewpoint regarding the health and growth of churches, De-sizing the Church is worth the read!”
Finding Freedom and Grace in a Broken World

“Are you seeking answers to life’s deeper questions? Perhaps you are tired of superficial answers that scratch the surface of life’s concerns, but do not satisfy your profound issues. If so, I suggest you read Finding Freedom and Grace in a Broken World. This book will touch your mind, heart, and emotions. I’m certain you’ll contemplate its teachings long after you have read the chapters. It’s a proverbial gold mine for the soul.”

“One of the things that Christians don’t like to discuss is the existence of cults inside the church; not theological cults, but emotional cults. Some churches teach the basic truths of Christianity yet enslave their members through the use of cultic practices, such as peer pressure, threats, and mind controls. . . . If you work with hurting people who escaped with emotional scars, or escaped yourself, or perhaps are still in an emotionally unhealthy church, this is the book for you. Garret provides a full review of how cultic churches work, as well as how you can escape, and how to minister to those damaged by them.”

“One of the results of living in a postmodern age is people who struggle with managing their own lives. Both within and without the church, it is clear that a large number of people need to get back to the basics of learning how to balance their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual selves. Leading from the Inside Out provides a practical and biblical handson resource for assisting all of us to lead our own lives, and those of others, for the glory of God.”

“Living in Color is dynamic, thoughtful and pointed. You may not agree with everything Randy Woodley writes, but I know you will think deeply about multicultural ministry. Be prepared to feel a little uncomfortable, but most of all, be prepared to follow the insights suggested in the book to help build churches unified around the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“A half century ago, no one in the US was talking about church culture. Today church culture is a popular, but often misunderstood, concept. In Look Before You Lead, Aubrey Malphurs assists church leaders to define, discover, and design a church culture that wins people to faith in Jesus Christ. Whether you are a church planter, pastor, or consultant, this book will help you develop a spiritually healthy organizational church culture.”

“Simply Following Jesus is a solid resource for churches that are restoring their health and growth. New believers will understand what a relationship with Christ is and how to deepen their relationship with Him. Those who are longtime believers will focus on their relationship with Christ as opposed to being involved in churchianity.”
