Living in Different Worlds Simultaneously

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“This book is a great source of inspiration for what the world needs so desperately: honoring each other’s contextuality while at the same time searching for inter-contextuality as a basis for our common humanity. There is no better way to honor a biblical scholar who has devoted his scholarly life to showing that such an approach is possible.”

Theology

“"von Sinner's book is a landmark in the further development of public theology. His thorough study of Brazil and his dialogue with South African public theology yields a convincing interpretation of the close relationship between public theology and liberation theology . . . I highly recommend this book to all who want to better understand the profile of the developing public theologies worldwide.”
