Biography
Hermann-Habib Kibangou previously served as a research officer at the Center for Studies and Training for Development (CEFOD) in N'Djamena, Chad. Kibangou earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy St Pierre Canisius of Kimwenza, a bachelor's degree in theology from Comillas Pontifical University of Madrid, a master's degree in socio-anthropology from the Catholic University of Central Africa, and a master's degree in social ethics from Boston College, and was pursuing a PhD in sociology at Laval University and at Gregorian Pontifical University. Kibangou's books include The Role of the Congolese Catholic Church (2024), The Mvengian Vision of Anthropological Pauperization (2022), and Social Stakes of Privatizations in Cameroon (2018).
