This Morning with God

Bible Studies & Devotionals

“In the spring of 1994 during a difficult season of my life, I picked up a copy of This Morning with God on a whim. Ever since then it has been my constant guide through the Scriptures—twenty-five years and counting! The Lord has used it to guide me through the Scriptures over and over again to the exact passage at the exact moments I've needed them, including in corners of Scripture that I never would have gone to on my own. I'm delighted with this newly updated version. The questions are clear, thoughtful, and thought provoking while entirely accessible to anyone willing to give it a few minutes of thought. A study guide of this type takes the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit, and the person reading them seriously—these are words of life that can transform a life, so why not engage directly with the text rather than with what someone else thinks about it? There is no better spiritual investment over your next fifty-two weeks than walking with Jesus in the Gospels and praying through Psalms, the most influential book on prayer in human history. If you're looking for a spiritual kick-start, do yourself a favor and give this little guide a try.”
