Face to Face with God

Theology

“This short book is a rich biblical-theological feast. Desmond Alexander draws on a deep knowledge of the Old Testament and profound commitment to proclaim Christ from all the Scriptures to highlight the powerful implications that Jesus Christ is both our High Priest and Mediator. Careful exegesis is matched with sweeping theological insight—there are fresh observations on almost every page. This is Christ-centered biblical theology at its very best!”

The Triumph of Grace

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“What a precious resource this is! There are few who have immersed themselves in ‘the gospel according to Moses’ like Dan Block, and fewer still who have matched his scholarship (which is careful and creative in equal measure), warmhearted generosity, and overwhelming desire to live and communicate the gospel in Deuteronomy with integrity and rigor.”

The Triumph of Grace in Deuteronomy

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“This is an important and compelling contribution to our understanding of God's unfolding master plan in the Old Testament. Paul Barker's careful and penetrating analysis of key chapters in Deuteronomy not only opens up crucial aspects of the biblical theology of divine grace and human sinfulness, but exposes fatal flaws in earlier attempts to read the text diachronically. This is a 'must-read' for anyone studying Deuteronomy.”
