The Trial of Indie Caloo

Fiction

“This book bristles with everything you could ever want from a western—high-adventure, humor, violence, romance, and a sparkling cast of characters—while also charting new ground with its risk-taking and moral complexity. The dynamic between Indie, Sheriff Brick, and Mattie traverses a wild, unpredictable terrain that keeps the reader reassessing their own allegiances until the very end. Matthew Nies has crafted a tale that feels both mythic and palpably real. I couldn’t put it down!”
