“In this book, author Wallace Henley, with his background in the White House and in pastoral service in the church, writes about ‘the Lord of History,’ who raises up and tears down whom He will—ultimately for the furtherance of His kingdom. That includes King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of ancient Babylon, and Donald J. Trump, 45th president of the United States. The overall point of this important new book is to explore what Christian historian Christopher Dawson calls ‘the overruling purpose of God.’ I recommend it highly.”
