Breaking the Huddle

Evangelism & Missions

“One of the most difficult things in building a missional congregation is to knead into the dough a real passion for evangelism that becomes a cultural norm. Many books motivate personal witness. This is one of the few books that gets at how to lead a cultural change toward being a community that stimulates real ongoing conversion.”

He Will Lead Me: A Spiritual Biography of Oscar M. Knutson

History & Biography

“This book is a wonderful resource for understanding not only Knutson, but to gain a picture of how the Pentecostal movement was being received and adopted into a Northwest culture in the 1920s and beyond. Fergus has given us a great gift into this world.”

Living in Tension, 2 Volume Set

Christian Living

“Now, after a long immersion in pastoral ministry, supplemented with reflective periods of teaching, Webster has mined for us a rich vein of pastoral theology . . . The theme of tension in ministry is the note we need sounded in this 'add water and stir' culture. The layers of resources in these pages will open the reader to a whole world, the depth of which is exactly what the church today desperately needs.”

Organizational Leadership

Work, Money & Leadership

“While the list of leadership books seems to grow almost daily, very few of them will offer the scope and the synthetic approach that this volume provides. The ten essays in this book will assist readers in visiting the broad landscape of the Christian leadership genre and in sampling the best of secular resources. I will be excited to put this book into the hands of my students.”

Practicing Ministry in the Presence of God

Church Leadership & Ministry

“Davis has set the table with a rich feast of theological expertise combined with genuine application to ministry. This set of essays will challenge, delight, and convict the reader. Settle in to a great theological meal here.”

So They Say

“Bob Mounce has provided a winsome and provocative collection of short essays (blogs really) that will trigger you to re-think and think about some of the famous quotes and 'taken for granted' assumptions of society. He pokes many holes in accepted thinking and offers the readers new perspectives in ways that may open us to new ideas that will bless.”

The Spiritually Vibrant Home

Marriage, Family & Relationships

“Everts has done it once again! He has woven together the great data-driven research of Barna with crisp biblical analysis and topped it off with illustrative material from his life that makes the possibility of passing on the faith within households come alive for the reader. Like all Everts's writing, I come away encouraged to live in ways that I can now see concretely.”

Worship, Mission, and the Church Year

Preaching & Worship

“We are just starting to put Mission and Worship together in this new missional age for the church. Worship and Liturgy have long been paired. But when have we had a book putting all 3 together? Monsma stirs them together well, embedded in rich theology, solid missiology, and thoughtful liturgical suggestions. For those of you designing worship in this age—don't pass this by.”
