Joe L. Wheeler is Emeritus Professor of English at Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland, and holds a Ph.D. Wheeler cofounded the Zane Grey's West Society and has served as its Executive Director. Wheeler has also served as General Editor at Focus on the Family. Wheeler's books include Soldier Stories (2006) and Tears of Joy for Mothers (2006).
