“It has been my privilege to accompany A. Guillemot at one or two staging posts on the journey that shapes the writings of this book. We find in them his deeply authentic testament to the realities such a journey entails: the abandonment of old selves and familiar ways of thinking, the confrontation with darkness and chaos, the overwhelming and redeeming power of light, the pain and joy of new beginnings, and the powerful call to love and compassion in our engagement with the world and its people.”
