John Peter Lange (1802–1884) previously served as a professor of theology in Zurich and later as a professor of dogmatics in Bonn. Lange edited volumes on biblical texts, including The Epistle of Paul to the Galatians, The Epistles General of Peter with the Epistle of Jude, and The Acts of the Apostles.
