John R. Compton is an ordained minister of the American Lutheran Church who previously held pastorates. Compton earned an MDiv at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, an STM at New York Theological Seminary, and a DMin at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Compton is Professor Emeritus at Loyola College of Maryland and edited The Art of Clinical Supervision (2005).
