John Von Rohr (died 2005) served as Professor of Historical Theology and History of Christianity at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California, and was a past president of the American Society of Church History. Von Rohr wrote The Covenant of Grace in Puritan Thought, published in 2010.
