Sharpening the Focus of the Church

Church Leadership & Ministry

“For over forty years, BEE World has provided a course based on Dr. Gene Getz's original book Sharpening the Focus of the Church. This outreach began behind the Iron Curtain and eventually expanded to over sixty other countries. Over 100,000 pastors and church leaders have used this text. And now Gene has completely updated this book! I unreservedly endorse its timeless and cross-cultural truths.”

Why, O God?

Christian Living

“What a wonderful book! Waters and Zuck have uniquely addressed the problem of suffering through the testimonies of those who have suffered and the lessons God has taught them. The wisdom of these fellow pilgrims is thoroughly buttressed with profound biblical studies by seminary professors, giving us needed insight into the question why. Any pastor or counselor will benefit from reading this—most of all, anyone who suffers or who knows someone who does. Highly recommended!”
