“Talking at a movie is easy. Talking to it requires a different attitude, and a more refined set of skills. “Jeffrey Overstreet gets it. He knows the faith-fueling power the cinema can hold. In Lost & Found in the Cathedral of Cinema, he writes about the movies with a novelist's passionate flair and a memoirist's confessional vulnerability. This is the rare book that is criticism, drama, and memoir all at once.”

“No mere catalogue of superheroic Christ figures, The Superpowers and the Glory brings historical context, careful criticism, astute theology, and a pertinent application of Scripture to a genre that has come to dominate our pop culture landscape. You’ll come away from Joe George’s book nerdier, in the best way possible.”
